Watch our chicks, hatch then grow and play
	Each of these eggs has a number written on it's shell, to help us identify them. Odd numbered eggs are from Gold Partridge Pekin Bantam Chicken Even numbered eggs are from Buff Cochin Chicken They were put in the incubator at 11.45 on 15th April 2008 Egg 3 has hatched, therefore the competition is now closed. We will keep you informed when the first egg starts to pip and the chicks progress. Don't forget we sell all you need to raise your own chickens from Incubators to food to Chicken Runs... The Chicken Out! campaign (a message from Hugh)
I feel so strongly about our chickens that I'm launching a national campaign, which I'm calling Chicken Out! Part of it will be a new TV series on Channel 4, which will help you to understand the conditions in which most table birds are reared, and to put pressure on the industry to raise its standards. Chicken Out! is being led by River Cottage locals, especially in and around Axminster, who are boycotting intensively-reared chickens and choosing free range instead.
